Well, the results are in, and while WWE couldn’t fully maintain the momentum of last week’s Raw, the company put out a well-paced, entertaining program Monday night. Raw delivered a few really nice segments and matches and avoided having anything actively bad. It’s still a work in progress on some fronts, but it’s also obvious that the writers and creative team is working to make Raw better.

Sure, this column might be grading Raw on the curve right now as the show moves into a New Era with a smaller roster and tries to push a few new faces. And that curve might dissipate in the coming weeks and the criticisms get sharper again, but for now, Raw isn’t doing too badly at keeping fans’ attention and putting out an entertaining product.

However, someone needs to let the writers know that Roman Reigns is not the all-American hero we’ve been waiting for, Pokemon Go has a shelf life, and Cesaro deserves a real, honest push. If they can focus on those issues and continue to churn out a better product, all of us will be happy.

So what Helluva Kicked the competition and what got its Pedigree checked? Let’s get to it…
