8. Ryder Picks Up Hometown Win

Hey, you’ve got to take the positives wherever you can get them.

Zack Ryder got his first Raw singles match in three years Monday night (almost to the day), which he won, defeating Mike Kanellis in mere seconds by hitting a Rough Ryder right away. What’s more, this match was in Ryder’s hometown of Long Island, New York, which makes it even better for the former tag champ.

While this won’t really go anywhere, we’ve got to give Ryder his props for picking up a ‘W’ on Raw, even against the hapless Kanellis.
