8 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Sept 16)

1. Bayley, Banks Continue Heelish Ways

Watching Bayley straddle the line between full-on heel and pseudo-babyface is really weird. She still dresses the same and panders to the fans, but she’s clearly doing it as a favor to the crowd rather than just being herself.

Bayley’s heelish tendencies were on display as she took Alexa Bliss out of their tag match by attacking her knee viciously, leaving Nikki Cross in a 2-on-1 situation that she couldn’t overcome. It resulted in Nikki eventually falling to the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, but not until we saw some venom from Bayley and Sasha Banks.

And this match then set up Becky Lynch saving Cross from a steel chair beatdown, which in turn set up a challenge for the next PPV, with Becky and Sasha looking to square off in Hell in a Cell.

That’ll do.
