8 Ups And 7 Downs From WWE Hell In A Cell 2015

Ups...

8. Tribute To Eddie

It€™s been 10 years since Eddie Guerrero passed away, but fans will still react with an €œEddie!€ chant whenever someone busts out a Frog Splash or Three Amigos (triple vertical suplexes). Kofi Kingston, however, managed to pay great homage to the late Latino Heat during the WWE Tag Team Championship match. As the match built to a climax, Kofi grabbed Xavier Woods€™ trombone and brought it into the ring. With the ref€™s back turned, it looked like he was going to blast Bubba Ray Dudley with it. Instead, he tossed the instrument at Bubba and immediately fell on the ground, clutching his head. The ref turned and saw the aftermath and was left to assume that Dudley had smashed Kingston with the trombone. It was a classic Eddie moment, and it very nearly resulted in a DQ victory for New Day. Ultimately, the trombone would factor into New Day€™s victory, but that brief tribute to Eddie was really well done and much appreciated.
