It’s a sad state of affairs when you long for a one-note joke from Southpaw Regional Wrestling to become reality simply because the character the wrestler is playing on Raw is just that bad.

But that’s the case with Jason Jordan, whose singles career is as vanilla as possible so far: bland entrance music and Titantron video, zero crowd reaction and a lack of overall energy emanating from the concept. The idea was noble – use Kurt Angle’s star power to put over a younger wrestler – but Jordan is quickly proving to be the wrong person, as he’s the complete opposite of Angle in terms of charisma.

Worse yet, Jordan ate the pinfall in a curtain-jerking match in front of a mostly empty arena. What does that say about WWE’s faith in him right now?

Maybe this is leading somewhere, but it sure doesn’t feel like it.
