8 Ways Saraya Can Help AEW Women's Division
6. Being A Strong Voice For The Women
Saraya was there at the start of the WWE Divas Revolution, and in her unfortunately-short WWE in-ring career managed to create a legacy for herself.
In NXT, before the Four Horsewomen made their mark, Paige and Emma - now known as Tenille Dashwood - were putting on hard-hitting matches and bringing the focus back to wrestling when it came to the brand's women's division. They walked so the likes of Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, Bayley and Becky Lynch could run in NXT and then on the main roster.
Saraya could do the same in AEW. The women don't get nearly enough screen time or story development, but hopefully that's something that will soon be changing. The former Paige having backstage influence and a no-nonsense attitude, as well as working with many of the women in the back previously, could allow the division to flourish. The Brit always talks about wanting the women's matches to be a main attraction and for the ladies to get the respect they deserve and to be taken seriously.
Her voice is loud, it always has been, but it might be even louder in AEW and, who knows, maybe we will get to see a better women's division for it. Saraya will advocate for the women and push AEW into the 21st century when it comes to its female ranks, and maybe even have a say in the company introducing some Women's Tag Team Titles, too.
