Speaking of Ziggler, more so than anyone on the WWE roster he needs to go away and freshen up. An absolutely fantastic performer, any and all hope that he might get the positioning his ability deserves was washed away in the aftermath of Survivor Series 2014. Ziggler now exists to put on consistently good matches with up and coming talent, and to stare at the lights when it is done. Truth be told, this is a pretty decent (and important) job. With Dolph, however, there will always be a feeling that he could have been a true money-maker for the company. The crowd have been behind him in a big way since he won the Money in the Bank briefcase in 2012, but some ill-timed concussions followed by 50/50 booking has curbed the support. TNA might not be the promotion it once was, but a few performers have shown that careers can still be reinvigorated by heading there. No one sums this up better than Ethan Carter II (Derrick Bateman to NXT fans). A performer with all of the talent in the world, WWE had no idea what do do with him so he was let go. He eventually made his way to TNA, where he has become the star of that show, fulfilling his potential and showing WWE exactly what they missed. Ziggler could do the same. Either way, he needs to freshen up and a top run outside of WWE rings might just be his best option.
Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
