7. The Giant Halloween Havoc 1995
If youre of the opinion that being 0-1 in your WWE run doesnt warrant you a title shot, youre probably vehemently opposed to the idea of someone who has never had a match in their life, not only challenging for the championship, but actually winning it the very first time they set foot inside the ring. The man fans now know as Big Show made his pro wrestling debut at WCWs annual Halloween extravaganza all the way back in 1995. Hulk Hogan saw dollar signs in the gigantic youngster and brought him in as the newest monster for The Hulkster to slay. Not only did the he win the title in his very first match, but he did so by disqualification, conveniently allowing Hogan to drop the belt without being pinned. His reign would only last a week, however as he was soon stripped of the title due to the manner in which he won it being deemed controversial. Besides, if a man can fall of the roof of an arena and then return later on that night to win the championship, who is anyone to say that man didnt deserve his title shot?
