8 Wrestlers WWE Should Use To Fill The Void

1. Kevin Owens

Considered by many to be the best heel on the roster today, Kevin Owens is the perfect man to carry the company through WrestleMania season. While Roman Reigns could overcome the odds and go on to defend the WWE World Heavyweight Title on the grandest stage of them all, you're looking at the best candidate to replace him as the champion if he fails to do so. It took Owens two months to capture the NXT Championship upon debuting at Takeover: R Evolution and stabbing his best friend in the back. Imagine the impact Kevin Owens would make if he not only won the Royal Rumble merely seven months after emerging to take on the biggest fish in the pond, John Cena, but to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the same night, and go on to main event WrestleMania 32! To make matters better, the fact that Lesnar's name is already being thrown around as a potential challenger at WrestleMania would make the likelihood of seeing a match between the two even greater. Hell, even if Owens doesn't win the Rumble, there's enough story set-up there with Lesnar suplexing Owens on Raw to justify a rivalry brewing. If that's not enough, have Owens eliminate Lesnar from the Rumble, making him solely responsible for the Beast's absence from the title match at WrestleMania, and you've got your story. Give Owens a big match against Lesnar at WrestleMania and I guarantee you'll have your new "Next Big Thing" and a candidate for Superstar of the Year only four months into 2016.
