8 Wrestlers You Didn't Know HATE Each Other For Real

1. Hunico/Sin Cara & Simon Gotch

You know all about Simon Gotch and Enzo Amore's mutual BURIALS (all caps for the algorithm), and if by some miracle you don't, consider this sentence your introduction to wrestling YouTube and the best destination for wrestling content on there.

But were you aware of the time that Gotch felt a Coke can bounce off his head courtesy of the second Sin Cara?

As somewhat hilariously told by the former Vaudvillain himself on the Two Man Power Trip Of Wrestling podcast, his then-colleague lobbed the drink at him thanks to a comment that the luchador deemed to be a little over the line.

As he put it; "Basically he and I would go back and fourth and throw sort of little digs at each other and I didn't realise how sensitive he was...I found that out later that with the stories about him they all have the same basic set up. He goes back and fourth with someone and they get the upper hand verbally and he goes and takes cheap shots at them when he gets angry."

Said anger escalated between the two when Gotch alleged that the true realisation of their own war of words hit him as Diet Coke covered his face and torso. He said; "With me and him, we were sort of trading little digs and I got one in that was stiff and I found out later after the fact that I apparently hit a nerve with some stuff that had happened to him personally that I didn't know about." Per the story, he felt something connect while eating, and could scarcely believe the potential fight on his hands before it started.

He continued; "I looked back down at my plate and all of a sudden I look back up and yell 'what the f***?' because my face started hurting...I couldn't see anything and completely didn't know what was going on and as I'm piecing it together, I smell Diet Coke, [thinking] 'why is my shirt wet...As my vision started to clear I see Jorge running from around the table and he tried to do almost a double leg and out of instinct I reached around his neck and shoot head locked him."

Whatever happened in the heat of the moment was eventually cooled enough for Gotch to concede Hunico's power and aim, commenting that; "We talked about it after the fact and I complimented him on his throw because he hit me dead in the eye."
