8 Wrestlers You Forgot Still Work For WWE In 2019

After Nia Jax finally decided that a year was just about long enough to ridiculously work with not one but two cruciate ligament injuries post WrestleMania, she at last decided to go under the knife. As with many things Nia Jax does, there was inevitable collateral damage - in this scenario, tag team partner Tamina.

Since the Divas of Destruction failed in their tag team title tilt in New York, the definitely-not-daughter of Jimmy Snuka hasn't played any part whatsoever on either Raw or SmackDown (although has suffered a series of Main Event defeats). It's perfectly possible WWE are keeping Tamina on the shelf until Nia Jax comes back, but why? We have no idea when Jax is set to return, and it doesn't make entire sense to squander it on a division that could very well not exist by the time it happens - nor keep her partner out of action waiting for something that might not transpire.

Tamina, 41, is at that stage of a wrestler's career where she can happily add depth to the division in defeat each week. She's actually doing that - but nobody knows it.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
