Back in 2014, doddery old racist Hulk Hogan was simply a lovable legend - though even then, his unexpected words were inciting the fury of an entire crowd.

As part of the icon circle jerk raising the curtain on a celebratory WrestleMania XXX, The Hulkster was joined in the ring by fellow industry titans Steve Austin and The Rock. But before his Attitude Era successors arrived, the show's host had the stage all to himself - and used it to make a most embarrassing of blunders.

After reminding everybody just how long ago the first WrestleMania was, Hogan again showed his age in announcing how proud he was to be "right here in the Silverdome" - even though he was some 1600 miles away from Pontiac, MI in New Orleans' Superdome. Fans began to jeer the error, until Hulk wound it back and apologised. See: he is capable of doing that.
