Newsworthy Bite: During his radio show ,Dave Meltzer was asked how much control Paul Heyman has over his promos. To that Meltzer responded that a script writer goes over that night's promo with Hyeman, but Heyman doesn't stick 100% to the script. The idea of the script is kept the same, but sometimes Heyman tweaks the wording.

Reaction: Not a huge surprise that Heyman has a good chunk of control over his promos. He has a style that would be tough for others to completely write up and just expect him to follow 100%. It's a shame more wrestlers aren't given more leeway when it comes to their promos, as they would probably be much more interesting. A lot of the "WWE.com Exclusive" interviews allow wrestlers to just talk -- The New Day and Stardust are good examples -- and they are usually absolutely fantastic.
