8 Wrestling Tag Teams With Contrasting Singles Careers

Bubba Ray and D-Von have cultivated a lasting legacy for their tag team exploits, and if there was a hall of fame specially for wrestling duos, they'd surely be the inaugural inductee. Their respective singles runs, however, couldn't have been more different.

After they had run their race as Team 3D, TNA re-packaged Bubba as super heel Bully Ray, and he enjoyed a brush with the main event which culminated in an unlikely world title win (and an even more unlikely fling with Brooke Hogan).

Bubba had always been the Dudleys' designated mouth-piece, though, so it made sense for the former tag teamer to go it alone. D-Von's solo run, on the other hand, didn't quite take off, his reverend gimmick lasting a matter of weeks before it - along with Deacon Dave Batista - was mercifully canned.
