8 WWE 2014 Storylines That Will Never Be Resolved

Did Daniel Bryan do the dirty with his personal trainer or what?

Well 2014 is nearly over, and let's be honest - in regards to WWE it has been an utter pig of a year. The very few bright spots throughout the year (which pretty much all came from the alarmingly good NXT programming) have been overshadowed by some of the most woeful programming in the entire history of the organisation. Some of the problems have been caused by unfortunate developments that put WWE in a bind. The incredible run of injuries to top performers such as Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns really threw spanners into a system that is clearly nowhere near as well-oiled as Vince and Kevin Dunn would have you believe. But in most cases WWE had nobody to blame but themselves. The departures of CM Punk and Alberto Del Rio were the fault of WWE alone, as was the genius idea of having a part time champion and then doing absolutely nothing to make that concept interesting €“ unless you consider ignoring Lesnar and the championship interesting. The biggest problem though is that we got another year of storylines that were mind numbing and intelligence insulting. But if that alone wasn€™t unforgivable enough, WWE also did their magic trick of starting a bunch of stories and then dropping them inexplicably €“ which in turn implies that WWE thinks that their audience is intellectually somewhere between a single cell amoeba and a used Big Mac wrapper. So get ready to bang your head on the keyboard in frustration as we re-examine some of these horrendous storytelling transgressions once again€
