8 WWE & AEW Wrestlers Living Fascinating Double Lives
2. Chris Jericho (Fozzy Frontman)
Many young wrestling fans have the silly delusion that the wrestlers are singing their entrance music, but in the case of Le Champion, it's true.
Jericho is often considered to be one of the best pro-wrestlers of all time, aside from calling himself the G.O.A.T, the fans know it too, which is what makes it so hard to believe that many people know him as the lead singer of Fozzy, as opposed to Y2J.
Although pro wrestling was always his career goal, Jericho had his foot in the music industry for longer than you'd think, as he started out writing a monthly column for Metal Edge magazine in the mid-90s focused on metal music. This expertise and passion led him into the arms of a tongue-in-cheek cover band called Fozzy Osbourne, led by Rich Ward, who would invite random musicians to take part where he could.
Eventually, Jericho joined the group and lived up to the double life prospect by donning the name Mongoose McQueen and never admitting that he was the pro wrestler Chris Jericho. Of course, as the band found traction and started to record albums, this persona would dissipate, and fans are now left with Jericho playing a Rockstar on AEW and living as one outside of it.
