8 WWE Elimination Chamber Statistics You Need To Know
7. Starting And Finishing
Statistically speaking, if you start the Elimination Chamber match (first or second), you have less pretty slim odds to win the bout. That’s not good news for The Miz.
Only four men have started the match and gone on to win it: John Cena, Undertaker, Edge and CM Punk. On the flip side, more than half of the winners of the 20 chamber matches – 11 – have entered the bout fifth or sixth and gone on to win it. That’s welcome news for Elias.
Triple H has been the biggest benefactor of a late entrance, winning three of his chamber matches after entering fifth. Five entrants – Shawn Michaels, Cena, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton and New Day, have entered last and won.
That means Cena is the only man to win a chamber match entering first and last (and also fourth). Edge’s two wins came from the #1 and #5 positions.
This year’s chamber match will feature the first #7 position, for what it’s worth.
