8 WWE Flops Who Went On To Bigger Things

Similarly, Diamond Dallas Page will forever be remembered as a late bloomer in WCW who went on to build his empire as a fitness guru. Meanwhile, the year he spent in WWE between 2001-02 was a minor distraction that must go down as a real flunked opportunity for a guy who had defied all odds to become a top name in the '90s.

Perhaps it's no wonder his WWE run flopped; Page got off to a bad start.

Portrayed as a jealous stalker who wanted The Undertaker to make him "famous", DDP then transitioned out of that into a mid card motivational speaking character. Though that was more in tune with his real-life personality, it wasn't going to bring Page anywhere close to the level he'd been in WCW.

His story could easily have ended there if DDP didn't have another plan. After retiring from the ring, he developed his own yoga program (Yoga for Regular Guys, or YRG) and eventually turned that into a DDP Yoga gold mine that blew his limited WWE success out of the water.
