6. Owens And Nakamura To Take Each Other Out
Shinsuke Nakamura is surely in line for a shot at the US Championship, having defeated Kevin Owens on three separate occasions now. Alongside AJ Styles, the pair are probably the most over wrestlers in the men's MITB ladder match - and in order to avoid a potential negative crowd reaction, the bout may be structured so that they take one another out.
These days, no MITB match is complete without a few bone-crunching high spots, and the centrepiece of the match could well see Nakamura and KO tumble through a pair of tables, crash into the announce table, or something similarly visceral.
Although it would make sense for Nakamura to eventually defeat Owens for the title, allowing KO to move back into the main event scene while furthering his own main roster career, I wouldn't bank on it happening in the immediate aftermath of Sunday's show. Owens' 'Face of America' shtick doesn't yet feel played out, and WWE could well have a long reign in mind.
