The popularity of shoot interviews have exploded over the past 15 years, with companies such as Kayfabe Commentaries specializing not only in the interviews themselves, but fantasy booking, and specific time periods as well. With the aforementioned gargantuan library and superstars the WWE has access too, they could corner a giant area of the shoot interview market in which has never been touched before-- current WWE superstars. In actuality, the WWE would limit some of the questions being asked, but hour-long sincere (please, none of the Miz or Matt Striker's canned comments) interviews with active members of the roster would be a major addition to the lineup on the Network. Sooner or later WWE is going to run out of "Beyond the Ring" documentary features to add to the Network, so utilizing their giant roster makes too much sense to pass up. If that wasn't enough, the company also has dozens of historic wrestling figures under WWE Legends contracts for their use as well. The series would be yet another low-cost, low-risk, high reward production for the company, and the WWE would also have the benefit of editing in actual WWE and WCW footage-- a luxury that no other shoot interview company has.
