3. Ryback (c) vs Kevin Owens - Intercontinental Championship
The newest rivalry to clash at Night Of Champions regards Kevin Owens and Ryback. The former NXT Champion began calling out Ryback in promos, highlighting a difference in their body image and lifestyle choices, and the way in which they are perceived by others. It could be an interesting line of approach, but hasn't been written too well so far. Instead, Owens has attacked Ryback from a loose collection of angles, including mocking him for reading a self-help book, stealing his "feed me more" catchphrase, and generally refusing to mention the Intercontinental Championship itself. Sometimes the most basic feuds are the best, a rule the WWE have seemingly forgotten here. Ryback's feel-good babyface reign doesn't feel as though it's coming to a close quite yet. He gained a pinfall victory over Seth Rollins last week on Raw, and although Owens really should win on Sunday - given the freefall he's been in since ending his rivalry with John Cena - I can't see it happening here.
