Last year, most of us thought this match was on the cards. Both Cesaro and Brock Lesnar were Paul Heyman Guys at the same time, and as the former rocketed up the card, these two clashing felt like a given. Whether it was Heyman turning on Lesnar for his new client or the Swiss Superman looking to prove himself as superior, fans were beginning to get excited about the prospect of this particular match up. Sadly, WWE dropping Cesaro's push out of the blue caused any interest there once was to be quickly lost. With Cesaro now on the rise and his popularity increasing, it appears as if he might be on the path to getting some sort of main event run in the near future. Heyman abandoning Cesaro in preference of Lesnar (which is what essentially happened on TV despite the fact that their split was only ever vaguely addressed) would be all the story needed to explain why the King of Swing would dare target The Beast, and seeing as Cesaro is genuinely one of the strongest guys on the WWE roster, he would definitely be a suitable match to push Brock to his limits. It would be great fun to see Lesnar attempt to brutalise Cesaro the same way he has the likes of John Cena and Seth Rollins only to realise that he simply can't. This has the potential to be a brutal match which would benefit both men, though particularly Cesaro (even if he lost). It just depends how serious WWE are about this latest push...
