8 WWE Payback Results Predictions
1. No Can Do For Strowman Against Roman
I distinctly recall the last time we danced this particular fandango, at Fastlane, when I confidently predicted that despite Strowman being on an absolute tear, he was necessary fodder to build up Roman in time for The Undertaker's WrestleMania valedictory. It was no slant on Roman (although naturally accusations of negativity towards the big lad littered the comments), but simply grounded acknowledgement of WWE's complete conviction in the serious Samoan.
And a Roman win is exactly what happened. Since, he's gone on to bury 'the Deadman', whilst Strowman has struggled for rehabilitation. Sure, he tipped an ambulance over, but brutal assaults on emergency vehicles aside, it hasn't exactly been easy for butch Brawn to return to his pre-Fastlane position of power.
A decisive victory over Reigns here would be just the nostrum for his current ills, but lets return to reality for a moment. Even the most ardent in the anti-Reigns camp would have to admit the poor booking sense in having the chosen one dismiss The Undertaker and then lose to relative rookie Brawn a month later. It shouldn't happen, which is just as well, because it wont. It may be a slog for the 'Big Dog', but he'll Superman punch his way to victory eventually.
