Everyone loves money, right? Well, in that respect Vince McMahon's idea to give away one million dollars via 'McMahon's Million Dollar Mania' in 2008 seemed like a great concept. The whole thing was of course a rating ploy to stop the viewer sag affecting Raw. Who wouldn't want to watch the show in order to bag some of that cold, hard cash?

Problems came when Vince had some of the most boring conversations WWE's flagship had ever witnessed with confused punters on the other end of the phone. All they had to do was utter a simple password, damn it, why were they taking so long? Meanwhile, audience attention dwindled in arenas around the country as this escapade went on for weeks.

Ratings didn't skyrocket, causing Vince to write an exit strategy by having the Raw set collapse and presumably crush him. Money was wasted and nobody was entertained across numerous dull, lengthy segments, so all Million Dollar Mania achieved was booking another Vince McMahon accident to write him off TV. Wow.
