5. Zack Ryder
It's been a very, very long time since Zack Ryder was in the spotlight, but not long enough for fans to have forgotten his goofy persona. He remains a familiar face on the lowercard, one who certainly deserves a lot better given his uniqueness and enthusiasm. Perhaps it's time to turn the Broski heel. Unlike the previous members of this list, Ryder wouldn't willingly turn to Stardust and co. for salvation. Instead, he could fall foul of one of the Wasteland's members during a match, and find himself abducted by the stable, Ministry-style. Although a slightly risky angle to run in the PG era, if done right, Ryder's fortunes could be completely transformed as the brainwashed, obedient lapdog of the gang. Heck, even John Cena could get involved, attempting to save his old friend from a life of dazed servitude. Fans would be clamouring for poor Zack to snap out of it, and the inevitable face turn would generate a huge reaction if pulled off at a big moment.
