8 WWE Superstars Whose Careers Ended The Worst Way Possible

Hands down one of the most exciting, technically-gifted female wrestlers to ever pass through the halls of the WWE, Amy Dumas deserves a ton of credit for helping to reinvigorate the women's division during the Attitude Era. Her matches with Trish Stratus are some of the absolute best in WWE history. Not the best of the women's, mind you, the best period.

Lita spent the last couple of years in the WWE as a heel, primarily because of her real-life love triangle with Matt Hardy and Edge. That included months of being called a whore by fans, whose attacks surely felt pretty personal by the time she decided to leave the company.

And by the way, it's not as if she departed on bad terms, either. There wasn't a major falling out between her and Vince McMahon, she was simply ready to move on after realizing she'd accomplished everything she'd wanted to in the business.

How did Vince repay her for years of sacrificing her body and reinventing the Divas division? By selling her panties and other "personal items" to the fans in attendance in what was dubbed a "Ho Sale" while she watched on from the ring. Obviously, this was a work and those probably weren't her actual belongings. Regardless, this slut-shaming was an embarrassing excuse for a "farewell" to a legend. ...Although Jerry Lawler's spot on Seven reference ("What's in the booox?") is almost worth this whole fiasco.
