8 WWE Survivor Series 2018 Nightmares That Could Come True

Nightmare: Shinsuke Nakamura fans won't thank this guy for saying it, but the Intercontinental vs. United States match next Sunday is only slightly intriguing because super-worker Seth Rollins is involved in it. The nightmare here is that he loses the belt before Survivor Series thanks to some foul play from old pal Dean Ambrose.

Chances Of It Coming True: We wouldn't put it past WWE to pivot on the IC Title, remove it from the Rollins vs. Ambrose feud and put someone like Dolph Ziggler in his place.

If that happens, we also wouldn't be surprised to see Dolph pull double duty against Nakamura and in the men's elimination match. It might be irrational, and yet there's a legit fear that WWE won't see the Intercontinental Title as meaningful to the Rollins and Ambrose feud.

Should Seth drop it to a heel pre-Survivors, then everyone would yawn their way through a second heel vs. heel match on the card.
