8 WWE TLC 2017 Card Predictions After No Mercy

7. Neville Vs. Matt Hardy

WWE's decision to have Neville drop his Cruiserweight Championship to Enzo Amore was frustrating, but it has created a huge opportunity.

Neville has been one of WWE's most consistently entertaining acts in 2017, but his best work takes place on a brand nobody watches. 205 Live regularly disappoints on the Network's weekly "most watched" list, the crowds are deathly silent, and their storylines have no buzz. It's easily the company's most skippable show, but WWE finally have the chance to remove Neville from this mess and move him onto something bigger.

His performances merit it. Neville's character work, promos, and matches are lightyears ahead of anyone else in his lowly division, and most outwith the lighter weight class. He deserves a bigger role, and now's the time to pull the trigger.

Wishful thinking? Perhaps, but why would anyone want to see a continuation of Neville's program with Enzo? This is the right moment to push him up the card, and with Jeff Hardy on the verge of shoulder surgery, his brother Matt will be stuck for something to do. What better way to welcome Neville to the heavyweights than a program with such a well-respected veteran?
