8 WWE TLC 2017 Card Predictions After No Mercy
3. Women's Title: Alexa Bliss Vs. Nia Jax
Raw's women defied expectations at No Mercy, producing an all-action Fatal 5-Way clash that would've scooped Match Of The Night honours if not for Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins vs. Sheamus and Cesaro. It was excellent, and while Alexa Bliss left with her Raw Women's Championship reign in-tact, Nia Jax was the star of the show.
It was a career-best performance from Jax, who has continually struggled to project herself as a convincing monster character since debuting, but finally seems to be finding her feet. She controlled huge portions of the bout, throwing her smaller opponents around with the greatest of ease, but was ultimately foiled by neutralising herself towards the end, allowing Bliss to score the pin on Bayley.
WWE have been teasing a feud between Nia and Alexa for months. The timing is perfect, as Jax wasn't directly involved in the No Mercy finish, and only had a few one-on-one interactions with Bliss throughout the contest, which keeps things fresh. Given that the champion has already collided with Sasha Banks and Bayley in recent months, this looks like the most logical way to move forward, though WWE could always throw her to Asuka instead.
