8 WWE TLC 2017 Card Predictions After No Mercy

2. The Shield Vs. The Wyatt Family

Rumours of a full on Shield reunion have intensified since Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins started buddying up earlier in the summer, but they've hit overdrive over the past 12 hours. Pro Wrestling Sheet's James McKenna (a reliable source who outed the Jason Jordan/Kurt Angle reveal before anyone else) tweeted that 'The Hounds Of Justice' will finally reconnect with Roman Reigns at TLC, as WWE are keen to boost ticket sales.

This makes sense. Ambrose and Rollins are Raw Tag Team Champions, but recent injuries to Scott Dawson and potentially Jeff Hardy leave them short of opposition, and they've already done the Sheamus & Cesaro story to death. Reigns, meanwhile, needs something to do before building towards his expected WrestleMania 34 clash with Brock Lesnar, and this would be a fine placeholder.

Who would they face, though? The Miztourage are Raw's only other active trio, but it's unlikely that WWE would burn a Shield reconciliation on two wrestlers as lowly as Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel. So how about another war with The Wyatt Family instead?

Erick Rowan and Luke Harper aren't doing anything on SmackDown, so they might as well come across to the red brand to reunite with their former master, resulting in an intense brawl on par with the two groups' classic 2014 match series.
