9 Awesome Things We Learned From "Nine Legends"

9. Goldberg's Entrance Killed His Pants

Anyone who's never heard of Bill Goldberg needs to politely but immediately hand in their wrestling card and make their way to the nearest exit. Not only did he have a significant, if ultimately ignoble, run with WWE in 2003, but he was one of WCW's biggest stars in the 90s, his 173-0 winning streak becoming stuff of, appropriately, legend. Sinnott's interview illuminates a number of things about Bill Goldberg, mostly his strong sense of ethics and the fact that he's a charity machine. He cites a number of organisations he's work for:
"One Good Turn Ranch, Communities for Kids, Jimmy V Foundation, anything that has to do with autism, Make a Wish Foundation ... all of these are charities and entities need as much help as humanly possible."
He also talks about how it was only the factor of raising money for charity that got him on The Celebrity Apprentice, an experience he apparently HATED. The most amusing fact amongst all the others, however, is the small issue that Goldberg's entrance pyro kept burning through his ring-wear. Every 3 matches, so one of the hardest-hitting men in pro wrestling attests, he would have to change his pants because the sparklers ate through them. Adorable.
