9 Best WWE Moments From Superstars Released On Black Thursday 2021

6. Bo Dallas Runs With The Bulls

Remember Bo Dallas? You know, former NXT Champion, big smile, brother of The Fiend? Bo Dallas hasn't had a televised match since October 2019, and that was in Saudi Arabia. Bo hasn't had a WWE match of any kind since November of that same year, a losing effort alongside Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode against Shorty G and the Lucha House Party. When put under this light, Bo's release isn't surprising in the slightest.

It feels like a lifetime has passed since Dallas defeated Big E. (then Langston) to win the NXT Championship. To this day, Dallas remains the third longest-reigning champion in the history of that title. It always felt as though that was his level, but what a level it was.

As great as Bo's run as NXT Champion was, it is difficult to look past him running over El Torito on a lap around the ring back in 2014. Bo had overcome the challenge of the mighty bull just moments earlier and was on a victory lap, a lap that Torito found himself in the path of. The rest is history, beautiful wrestling history.

Enjoy living on a farm with Liv Morgan, Bo. It is enough to make Bo-lievers out of us all.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
