9 Biggest Liars In WWE History

2. Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan may not be the biggest liar in pro wrestling (or he may be -- this isn't science), but he's undoubtedly the most colorful. It's arguably a sad commentary on the sport that even its all-time biggest star feels the need to hugely embellish his legacy, but Hogan is old school -- he comes from an era when lies were currency, and the Hulkster is used to being the richest man in town. His most infamous lies revolve around his WrestleMania III match with Andre the Giant. Over the years, Hogan has steadily elevated Andre's weight in the telling of the tale, reporting "The Eighth Wonder of the World" as over 600 pounds. No mortal man could lift a giant, and even for Hogan, it was challenge -- according to him, he tore every muscle in his back performing the bodyslam. Most oddly, Hogan has even intimated that Andre died shortly after (and possibly as a result of) the slam, when in fact, the match took place in 1987 and the giant died in 1993. Since entering semi-retirement -- and the public eye, via his reality show "Hogan Knows Best" -- Hulk's whoppers have taken on a more mainstream appeal. He claimed to have been an initial choice to play bass for Metallica, though he later retracted that statement and said he merely thought about trying out for the band. He also said that he passed on endorsing the fat reducing grill that was adopted by George Foreman, losing out on millions in the process. Never let it be said that Hogan lacks creativity.
