9 Burning Questions For WWE Survivor Series 2015

8. Will WWE Lay An Egg?

For all the question marks surrounding Survivor Series, there is a unique opportunity for WWE to chart a path forward for the company. There also is the possibility that the promotion throws up a big goose egg and whiffs on doing anything interesting €“ or even logical €“ and just further alienates fans. Consider the 1998 Deadly Games tournament at Survivor Series. That tourney helped vault the careers of the Rock and Mankind into the stratosphere in one simple moment. That is a high bar to set, but there€™s no reason that WWE can€™t aspire to do the same thing 17 years later. Conversely, WWE could double-down on Roman Reigns as a superhero that the fans should just naturally get behind because Vince McMahon deems it so. The same potential plusses and minuses are there for the Undertaker and Kane/Wyatt Family feud, so there€™s the same possibility that WWE could have an intriguing story going forward, or just deflate the balloon completely.
