5. Roddy Piper Paints Himself Half Black

It's often interesting to look back in time and see that things once deemed acceptable are now woefully out of place in today's world - not to mention borderline racist. That was the case with 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper's performance at WrestleMania VI; all set to face Bad News Brown on the show, Piper painted himself half black for the occasion.

Turning to unveil his new paint job to the audience during a backstage promo, the eccentric star also went on to bust out a 'Michael Jackson glove' (at least according to Jesse Ventura on commentary) during the match itself.

Any talk of Piper paying homage to Jackson's 'Black Or White' track should be tempered by the fact that the song didn't hit charts until 1991, whereas 'Mania VI took place in the Spring months of 1990.

This moment is worth watching for historical purposes now, if for no other reason than it opens eyes to how politically correct the world is in 2017; when it comes to examples such as this, the evolution of 'PC' behaviour is justified.
