Since the start, NXT has been praised for its ability to bring in stars from the independent scene and have them work televised matches against members of the roster. It has an old school feel to it, as wrestlers are allowed to build credibility without beating someone else who is also trying to make a name for themselves.

Among the many women that have showed up in NXT over the years, from Deonna Purrazzo to Leva "Blue Pants" Bates, Mia Yim was one of the few standouts. She wrestled one match for the promotion in late 2013, losing to future Divas and Women's champion Charlotte. Despite her impressive performance, she wasn't signed to a deal, and instead journeyed over to TNA.

She spent nearly a year as part of The Dollhouse before branching off and winning the Knockouts Championship earlier this year. Her character could still use some work, but her in-ring ability has never been an issue. She can hang with the best of them and has proven that thus far in her various outings against Gail Kim, Madison Rayne, and Brooke Tessmacher.

Jade would be an excellent addition to NXT's rather depleted women's division once she's done in TNA.
