9 Future WWE Divas You Need To Know About

5. Candice LeRae

Candice La Rea Candice LeRae is a 29 year old Canadian professional wrestler currently working on the independent wrestling scene. Why do you need to know who Candice LeRae is? The answer is simple, she just way too good to never work for the WWE. One day she will be a part of the WWE roster and she will take the Divas Division by storm because she€™s that damn good. For the uninformed, Candice has been wrestling for over 10 years and has wrestled for promotions like Chikara, APW, PWG and ROH since her in-ring debut in 2002. During that time she has won several titles, and wrestled countless opponents, including several male wrestlers. That€™s right, Candice LaRae has regularly fought men in her matches and has been wildly successful doing it. Not only is she currently one half of the PWG Tag Team Champions (along with Joey Ryan, who together are the World€™s Cutest Tag Team), but she has also challenged for the PWG World Heavyweight Championship, albeit in a losing effort. Her wrestling with men isn€™t just a gimmick either, she can really go and more than holds her own in the ring with anybody she faces, male or female. While the WWE is a long ways away from having men fight women again (mostly due to the climate surrounding domestic violence and the NFL€™s handling of such cases), that doesn€™t mean that the WWE won€™t bring in Candice to have kick ass matches with the likes of fellow Canadian Natalya, Paige, AJ Lee, Brie and Nikki Bella, and even Charlotte. Who knows, maybe she€™ll eventually get to have a run at one of the male Superstars eventually, much like Chyna got the opportunity to during the attitude era. The point is that the WWE could always use another capable female performer, and Candice has more than proven that she can deliver in the ring and out. She€™ll get a shot, and that€™s why you should start getting to know her.
