9 HUGE AEW All Out 2020 Predictions You Need To Know

5. Broken Rules: Matt Hardy Vs. Sammy Guevara

AEW All Out predictions

The trouble with a lopsided Loser Leaves Town stipulation is that it often forecasts the result. While such things rarely stick, and "firings" aren't usually permanent in professional wrestling, questions like "this can't be the end of Matt Hardy in AEW, right?!" inevitably come to mind in cases like this, leading to a seemingly obvious conclusion.

This may not be the case here. Yes, Hardy is still fresh through the door, though his physical issues are well-documented. AEW has proven itself less likely to fall into recognised WWE-style tropes, too. Hardy losing is a distinct possibility, though we're still picking him for the victory.

Sammy Guevara's slow-burning push to the top will be a long, drawn-out affair. He was busted up in their recent tables match but still put Hardy away, giving him the last big rub heading into All Out, and he's so good at playing a snot-nosed punk that he'd find it easy to recover from a loss. Hardy, meanwhile, still has plenty to offer on television, and it'd be a shame to see him shunted aside here.

Winner: Matt Hardy
