9 Live Observations From WWE SmackDown Holiday Tour Peterborough

3. Baron Corbin Def. Kalisto

Talk all you want about how their feud on TV is boring, these two can put on a hell of a match together.

It was very David vs Goliath, but both men played their roles to perfection. Corbin was generating some genuine heel heat midway through the match, even shouting down fans at ringside. It was one of The Lone Wolf's best heel performances, and I hope to see more of it on TV.

One of the most entertaining bits of this match was Kalisto trying to do the 619. After failing the first time, he connects with the second. A few moves later, Corbin catches a springboard-flung Kalisto in an insane Deep Six.

After numerous back and forth sequences, Corbin catches and aerel Kalisto in the End Of Days for the win. Fantastic performance by both individuals. I hope to see more of this when the lights shine brighter.

Side Note: for some reason, WWE doesn't store Kalisto's trampoline underneath the ring. They brought it out from the production table during Corbin's entrance. Seems like unnessesary work to me.
