9 Live Observations From WWE SmackDown Holiday Tour Peterborough
1. Final Thoughts
All and all, the SmackDown crew put together a very entertaining show for a small market town. Still, you couldn't help but feel something was missing.
While it was obvious that the likes of Cena and Undertaker weren't going to show up for Peterborough, and Styles and Ryder were dealing with injuries, the show did still lack a few SmackDown staples. Dolph Ziggler, Randy Orton, Kane, The Uso's, and Becky Lynch were all absent from the event.
This could be a case of WWE letting its veterans and stars have a break during the holiday season, or just deciding to travel light for a small market tour outside of the states. Perhaps they were allowing some less established stars, like Apollo Crews for example, to get some much needed exposure in a bigger role.
Still, even with the absences, WWE provided the great white north a fun, entertaining show well worth the price of admission.
