This would best be described as a very uneven spot-fest with a mildly feel-good ending that lifted the spirits of the stadium enough to earn it a passing grade.

Certain spots were executed well, even if the best one was an accident. Zelina Vega performed what was effectively an avalanche destino, and it looked amazing even if she was aiming for a moonsault. The impactful, inadvertent high spot was better for being mistimed; far better that than an obvious, helpful arms-out catch bump.

Elsewhere, the wires very much visible. On several occasions, many performers very obviously walked into positions of danger purely to orchestrate their next bump. The actual moves were executed well enough, and the brisk pacing meant that it was hardly tedious, but there was a contrived quality to the way the match was structured that meant it was difficult to get lost in or exhilarated by.

Still, cracking double-team finish on the part of Naomi and Sasha Banks, whose hair looked absolutely stunning. That's not a facetious point. She knows how to look, act and wrestle the part of a superstar.

So what was she doing in this?

Star Rating: ★★¾
