9 Match Star Ratings For WWE WrestleMania 38 Night 2

4. The New Day Vs. Sheamus & Ridge Holland

Mr. McMahon WrestleMania 38

An abject and bleak waste of bloody time.

The New Day supported their injured friend Big E with a genuinely touching attire-themed tribute. They were then beaten like prelim geeks in under two minutes via distraction finish. This was a cruel match barely worthy of even the especially sh*tty SmackDown undercards of 2022. The start was quite dramatic, in that it teased a sudden seconds-long squash, but then it just became an actual squash that couldn't have done more to damage the babyfaces as a popular and important act.

That Kofi won the WWE championship only three years ago brought into focus just how chaotic and inessential virtually everything in this company is.
