According to the Fozzy schedule, there's nothing going on August 23rd, which leaves Chris Jericho open to a brief WWE comeback. He's definitely somebody that WWE would like to come back for big shows like SummerSlam. He has a star value that resonates with wrestling fans. He's also a draw for lapsed casual fans and those who know him from other mainstream ventures. Putting him against Bad News Barrett would be a fun mid-card match, especially for someone like Barrett who doesn't really have much else going on right now. As for Jericho, keeping up regular appearances would help maintain his value. It is about time we saw him wrestling again on tv.
