3. Keith Hackney vs. Emmauel Yarborough (UFC 3)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bf7UShVrh5c The world loves a David vs. Goliath story, and sports is the arena in which the tale is most effectively told. Underdogs felling giants will always remain timeless, and both pro wrestling and mixed martial arts have seen their share of such dramas. At UFC 3, the much smaller Keith Hackney made his way to the ring to take on Emmanual Yarborough, who's discipline was listed as sumo. Yarborough was a literal giant, stading 6'7" and weighing 600 pounds, and few gave Hackney any real chance. But the old adage of the size of the fight in the dog held true because Hackney had much more fight in him on that night. He attacked Emmanuel with a fury and took him off his feet, where he proceeded to pummel the huge man in the head for what seemed like hours until the referee mercifully put a halt to the carnage. The kenpo karate fighter broke his hand on Yarborough's head and had to be removed from the competition, but he'll always be remembered for his slaying of the sumo. When wrestling presents the story of the smaller man defeating the giant, it's always a lengthy drawn out bout that tugs at the emotions of the fans by convincing us that the little man has no chance before some miracle victory befalls him. WWE should go the other way, and give us a small man just obliterating a larger foe. Let Finn Balor's Raw debut be a 20-second squash match over Big Show or Kane where he hits the ring and massacres them in seconds, displaying sheer intensity and rage. Instant superstar.
