9 NXT Talents Who Are Destined To Fail In WWE

7. Big E

In the early episodes of NXT, there was this dude named Big E Langston. He'd walk to the ring, throw people around, frantically chant the word 'FIVE!' and count his opponents down for - you guessed it - five seconds. Langston was built on squash matches, and while that wouldn't fly on the higher levels of the WWE card, it was an interactive way of getting over a character who meant business. Nowadays, Big E finds himself in a stable called 'The New Day'. For some bizarre reason, he talks in a posh accent (though I get the feeling he's doing that off his own accord) and had reached the category of lower card struggler before being given the new gig. He's alongside Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, two other guys who found themselves in a similar position. They've recently turned heel - which has actually worked - but it's a long way from where Big E was this time last year. He's a former Intercontinental Champion, and you've gotta hope that this is going to be a launching pad for the guy to get back to former levels. It didn't start out so well, so the jury's out.
