9 Obscure WWE Royal Rumble Statistics
1. Most Rumbles Entered Without An Elimination
Tie - Jack Swagger and Albert (6)
It's kind of difficult to determine which of these is worse.
On one hand, you have Jack Swagger, a former World Heavyweight Champion and accomplished amateur wrestler who spent over 40 minutes in six different Rumbles from 2010 to 2016 and still couldn't earn one elimination. On the other hand, you have Albert, a 6'7", 360 pound former NFL player who entered the Rumble under four different names throughout his career, spent almost 47 minutes in total in the match, and appeared in two different decades of Rumbles, and couldn't eliminate anyone either.
Albert's average Rumble time (7:49) is over a minute better than Swagger's (6:45), as the latter's numbers are largely hindered by a tragic 15 second performance in 2016. Strangely enough, Swagger had won his place in that year's match, yet it turned out to be his worst offering by far. But Albert is no stranger to sub-one minute performances either, as he only went 48 seconds in 2002 before being eliminated by Christian and Chuck Palumbo.
Given their size and their backgrounds, these two lads should have had a lot more success in Royal Rumble matches. But instead, they earn this ignoble accolade.
