9 Reasons WWE SmackDown Is Currently Superior To Raw

3. Talking Smack

I have no clue why WWE decided to create Talking Smack. Putting it on the Network promptly following SmackDown was an interesting idea and I can't believe they chose to do it for the blue brand rather than the red. For those you who haven't been lucky enough to catch it, it's essentially AMC's Talking Dead follow-up to their smash hit zombie drama The Walking Dead but in wrestling form.

Hosted by the always-excellent Renee Young - who may be the most undervalued performer in the entire company - and GM Daniel Bryan, the show immediately goes in-depth on what we just witnessed, conducting interviews with the performers and oftentimes furthering the angles that take place on the show. The meat of the Carmella/Nikki Bella feud has taken place on Talking Smack, and the confrontation between D-Bry and The Miz turned what could have been a bland, run-of-the-mill taking head segment into must-see TV,

Not to mention that it's a genius move to drive viewers to the Network immediately upon the conclusion of SDL and keep them invested in what they just witnessed. The additional platform has given talent a chance to shine, particularly Alexa Bliss and Baron Corbin, and get increased exposure that the structure of SmackDown may not provide them with.

It's an awesome addition to Tuesday nights and something fans of the blue brand should make a point to catch on a weekly basis.
