9 Ruthless Decisions WWE Need To Make Now

4. Stop All Promo Time For Shinsuke Nakamura

Anyone who watched Shinsuke Nakamura in NJPW will recall a smash-mouth style that bred a star. WWE have tried to mimic that rockstar feel, but they keep undermining it by writing cringeworthy promos that make Nakamura come across as uncool - more Jedward than Mötley Crüe.

The latest SmackDown saw Nakamura use John Cena's trademark 'You Can't See Me' line in comedic fashion. It missed the mark and even poor Renee Young was left looking a bit concerned that one of Japan's greatest exports was being fed such nonsense. Stop it, WWE. Just stop giving Shinsuke these horrendously misplaced promos.

If anything, this was Nakamura's chance to shed the goofy comedy and get serious. He has the chance to face one of WWE's top stars and then go onto SummerSlam and wrestle for the WWE Title against a champion he could realistically beat. Cut the cr*ppy interviews, unless they're going to enhance Shinsuke's aura.
