9 Things That Must Happen At WWE TLC 2017

2. The Big Red Loser

If The Shield are going to pick up the win in the main event, surely it must be Kane who takes the loss. The Big Red Mayor returned to WWE this past Monday on RAW, allowing Braun Strowman to defeat Roman Reigns inside a steel cage. Kane’s return was creatively done, and his entry into the match makes a lot of sense.

Kane has serious beef with two thirds of The Shield. It was Roman Reigns who ‘retired’ his brother at WrestleMania 33, and the Big Red Demon’s issues with Seth Rollins are well documented. WWE likely won’t bring these pieces of storyline continuity to the fore, but fans can close their eyes and imagine they are important nonetheless.

Kane is a 50-year-old star of yesteryear at this point, and there is no way in hell that he should be protected, devil’s favourite demon or not. The Spain-born insurance broker needs to be the individual on the receiving end of the Kingslayer knee (are they calling it that yet?), Dirty Deeds and a big Spear.
