9 Things We Learned From WWE Chronicle: Charlotte Flair

7. Did The Fans' Boos Bother Her?

Charlotte Chronicle
WWE Network

Did Charlotte care too much about what the fans thought during her rivalry with Becky - specifically, the fact the majority were rooting for the prescribed heel, and booing her?

Perhaps yes, she concedes, wondering if things would have worked out more effectively had she simply owned the stick instead of begging crowds to like her.

Charlotte says it's a learning process, and she's better for the experience... except that's not really how it works, is it? Recall SmackDown's Brian James lambasting audiences for sabotaging the show because of their supposed misunderstanding of the storyline. WWE angles are not mutative and aren't dictated by the performers on the fly. Charlotte had no choice but to go along with the stupid scenario she was being served.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
